Books readers can escape into over a weekend or on holiday,

or your lunch break, and let the world drift on by without you for a time.

Also reporting for duty that morning were Scout, Tula, Leo, and Stevie King, my editor cat — otherwise known as the Pajama Therapy Books writing gang.

We split our time between our tiny on-grid city home, fondly known as The Winter Palace, and our off-grid cabin on a hundred forested acres along the Peace River called Drop Out Acres. Wherever we are, that’s where the writing happens.

We may be casual around here, but we’re serious about our stories.
